With over 63,000 farms and almost 8 million acres of Pennsylvania land devoted to farming, agriculture in Pennsylvania is a major part of our state's economy. Generations of Pennsylvanians have worked to build family farms that are the life blood for some of our rural counties, yet at the same time providing fresh food for our urban centers.

Protecting Family Farms

Kimberly will make sure that the family farmer remains a key cog within Pennsylvania's economy. Too often our towns, villages, agricultural communities are overlooked and under-served.

Kimberly will work hard to find creative ways to expand broadband access to our most rural areas, enabling farmers to sell goods to a broader market both domestically and internationally.

Supporting Sustainability and Local Access

Kimberly will work with others to enhance opportunities for families in our towns and cities to have access to healthy, sustainable, locally-grown foods. Our region has some of the most environmentally sustainable produce in the country. As a businesswoman, Kimberly will use her experience with work with farmers to build on their distribution networks, as well as consumers to ensure safety, quality, and sustainability in access to locally grown, healthy food.
